FAQ
  • Broken finger at a fixed / consistent position
    Check the screen at the corresponding position to see if the laser failed to penetrate or if there is foreign material blockage.
  • Broken finger across the entire printing area
    Check the following: Paste viscosity (too thick / too thin); Replace with a new squeegee; Check whether the screen line width is trending toward the lower spec limit; Check for any abnormalities in the laser engraving effect / line width quality
  • Efficiency Anomaly Caused by Screen Factors

    1、Low efficiency due to low current: Check whether the screen grid line width is too large.

    2、Low efficiency due to low FF: If silver paste consumption is low, verify whether mesh thickness, emulsion thickness and line width are insufficient. If no abnormality is found in the above parameters, inspect the laser processing quality of the PI film, as poor laser performance may result in inferior printability and low FF.

  • Line widening at squeegee start and end positions
    1. Inappropriate tape thickness: optimize tape thickness
    2. Unreasonable border line design: optimize angle & reduce width
    3. Improper printing parameters: increase snap off distance
  • Low efficiency occurs during the initial launch of new screens or when replacing squeegees in the printing process.

    1、Increase the PI film adhesive layer thickness of the screen, which ensures better grid line fullness during printing and reduces efficiency loss.

    2、Adding an additional PI film layer on the S side of the screen can alleviate efficiency loss.
